Stavanger - Amsterdam - Lagos
We woke up at 04:30am and took a taxi to the airport in good time for the plane to Amsterdam, leaving at 07:00am. We boarded the plane, only to be told that the altimeter wasn't working and that they had to get a new part from Amsterdam. It was almost 2pm before we left Stavanger, so that we missed the onward connection to Lagos. We were not happy with KLM - delayed both ways!

KLM put us up at the Van de Valk Hotel near the airport. The luggage stayed at the airport and we were given an overnight bag. It was actually quite relaxing to spend the night there and make a leisurely way back to the Airport the next day. The only problem was that we had to throw away the duty free we had bought in Stavanger because they wouldn't let it through security.
