Carnivore Restaurant
After the elephants we went to "Carnivore" for lunch where, needless to say, they specialise in meat, cooked on skewers in a huge open roasting pit. The waiters keep coming until you take down the little flag on your table and admit defeat.

Mathilde, who hardly eats anything but meat, was in her element: chewing her way through lamb, beef, pork, ostrich and even crocodile! The boys preferred the sausages, which they wolfed and then escaped to the playground. Who should they meet there but Jack and Oliver, Rob and Ernie's children! It was nice to meet up with them one last time and for the kids to play together again.

After a bowl of ice cream each, it was off to see the Giraffes...
