22nd April
We spent our last morning relaxing by the pool and packing before flying from Malindi to Nairobi. We took a taxi from the airport to the Fairview Hotel, where we has booked a family room for 2 nights.

The room was exactly what we needed - a separate bedroom for the boys and opening onto an enclosed garden where the children could run around. We surprised to find one of the guests we had seen at Hemingways in the same buidling, but it turned out that his father owned the hotel - he was training ot take over the family business.

That evening, we put the kids to bed and hired a baby sitter so we could eat in the hotel. I had sushi and Inger-Lise had Lasagne - so we were both happy. The next day we had booked a driver from a travel agent recommended to us in "Sportsman's Safaris" to take us to the sights in Nairobi.
