Star of the Week!
In Erik's class each child is the star for one week and for the week of 22-28th January it was Erik's turn.

The previous weekend (in between packing), Erik and I made a poster with photos of family, friends, holidays and back in Norway. Erik then had to write captions for the photos on his poster and write a page about himself. He brought the poster with him to school on monday and it was hung up in the class room during the week.

On Friday, Inger-Lise, Mathilde and I went to the school, got Daniel out of his class and we all went in to Erik's class. We all sat at the front of the classroom and Erik presented his poster to the rest of the class. He then opened up for questions and took each child in turn. "Yes, Sophie. What is your question?", he would ask. I was very impressed how calm and professional he was. Daniel eagerly joined in with some of Erik's explanations! After that we were asked to tell some stories about when Erik was little - we told the one about him falling asleep on the rope bridge in his tree house and spitting so accurately on the candle that refused to go out on his birthday cake.
