On Saturday, I had to get up really early (6.30), because I was snack mum for Daniel's fotballteam and had to bring cakes, drinks and fruit fot the whole team. We had to be at the school at 8 o'clock. Daniel got to play goaly for the first half which he enjoyed, because he gets a bit tired running around so early and in the heat. Erik played his match at 9, and then we went home for a well deserved dip in the pool together with my mum and Mathilde. Jeremy went to the hairdressers.

In the afternoon we all wnt out to the biggest compound in Lagos, Chevron Texaco, There must be about 100 houses out there, and it is like a small American town. Erik and Jeremy had a scout den meeting at 1 o'clock and Daniel also got to join in. My mum , Mathilde and I enjoyed the great pool and playground facilities they have.

At 2.30 Erik and Jeremy had a pack meeting with all the different scout dens. There must have been about 70 children. They arranged a bike rodeo in a big empty carpark in the compound. Erik seemed to really enjoy biking again.

Daniel, Mathilde, my mum and I stayed by the pool. There was a birthday party there for a one year old, and they had a big bouncy castle which Daniel really enjoyed. He and Mathilde gate crashed the party, but nobody minded. There were lots of little friends for them to play with.

Joy babysat for us in the evening, so that we could show my mum a favorite restaurant called "Bottles". It is a Tex-Mex restaurant that serves magnificent margaritas... The food was a little bit hot though. We didn't stay to late because we were going to the Statoil beach the next day.
