On Friday, We went to the new shopping centre "The Palms" after we had delivered the boys at school , so my mum could see that Lagos also had some civilised shops. This shopping centre is only 6 months old and all the expats go there. We also went to Quintesses, a giftshop run by a Swedish women who has lived here for 30 years. Salako made us a lovely lunch, and then it was time to pick up the boys again.

Daniel had a birthday party after school, to a classmate Connor from South Africa. Erik also got to come along. The party was by the pool and they had rented in a big electric train that went around in a circle.

My mum decided to stay home and had a lovely afternoon with Mathilde, but picked us up a bit early from the party so that Mathilde also had a go on the train. She LOVED it and was very sad to leave.

We just had a quiet night in with cheese and wine that night, quite exhausted after a busy week.
