We got to the school just after 8am with the boys in their football gear to find that Saturday Sports was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. We thought about going to see if the crocodiles and monkeys were out at the Leki conservation centre, but the driver said there would be lots of mosquitos and that the pathway could be flooded... not a nice thought if the crocodiles are out!

We went bacl to base instead. Inger-Lise went out shopping to buy things for my BIRTHDAY PARTY tomorrow. I camped out by the pool with the kids and Alexander joined us. I ordered in Pizza for the first time and it worked fine: the security guard escorted the pizza guy to the pool.

Tonight Inger-Lise and I are going out to a Tex-Mex restaurant called Bottles. The owner is a keen diver and collects gin bottled from the 18th century from the port where they used to load slaves onboard. Tonight, though it is Margueritas for us!!

Salako has been busy cooking all day today. We are having about 20 people and 10 kids over for lunch tomorrow. The idea is to eat by the pool, so we are praying for nice weather.
