Today we had an eventful day and had lots of fun. In the morning we went to the family fun day at Erik and Daniel's school. They had a big bouncy slide, lots of food and drink (Mathilde loved the popcorn) and stands where you could sign up for after-school activities. Erik signed up for football, swimming and cub scouts. Daniel signed up for football just swimming.

Afterwards, Erik went to a friend, Sophie's birthday party. He spent the whole time in the pool and had a whale of a time. Sophie's father is British and her mother is Nigerian. Wierdly... it turned out that Sophie's grandparents had lived in Peel in the Isle of Man for 5 years. It is a small world.

Meanwhile Daniel, Mathilde and I went to Tom and Hanne's house (a danish family we met at the school today) on the other side of Ikoyi island for drinks, swimming and tennis. Erik and Inger-Lise joined us later in the afternoon and we had danish sausages for supper.

Tomorrow we are going to the beach with a Norwegian family: Svein, Lisbeth, Alex (6yrs) and Marlin (2 yrs). Stay tuned...
