Today was Mathilde's first day at "school" - she started at the American Playcentre. Inger-Lise and I came with her on her first day to hold her hand, but she didn't really need it. She is definately ready to start at playschool.

It is only a small playgroup with around 20 children. The garden has a lawn for them to run around and a number of climbing frames, swings etc. Inside there is a reading corner, an area with little tables and lots of toys including a kitchen and dolls houses, which she loved.

She will start at 9am to noon every weekday and will bring a little lunchbox with her. The teachers seemes very nice and all the walls were colourfully decorated. We had a nice feel for the place. I'm sure Mathilde will have a nice time there.
