There's not a lot to write when Inger-Lise and the kids are not here! On Friday, I worked late and went to bed early [yawn]
On Saturday, I spent all day booking our holiday on the internet and the phone. The logistics of booking Legoland, Disney and Centre Parks, back-to-back and all linked by British rail are pretty horrendous. My terrible sense of time didn't help matters!
In the evening I had planned to go out with my KWC friend, 'Yomi Audifferen but he had to cancel. Instead, I went out with the Statoil gang to "Churrasco", the Brazilian restaurant - coincidentally the same place I had met Yomi, his brother Wole and Bashar back in April. We were eleven people and had a good evening. My Springbox rugby shirt was appreciated by the South Africans on the table next to ours (including Ian and Marion from AISL). The Springbox narrowly lost to New Zealand on Friday and they were drowning their sorrows.
On Sunday I packed in the morning then went to the GQ, where I bumped into Pernille. It was nice to say good bye to her - she is leaving with the kids at the beginning of August. Morten is leaving on 25th August. I trained for an hour then had a swim, ate lunch and had a nap by the pool (it rained all morning but the sun came out in the afternoon).
