Summer Holidays (for some...)
Inger-Lise and the children left to go back to Norway yesterday and I went to the airport with them to see them off. They were using the other half of the business class tickets that they used to come out here. Erik was especially looking forward to it... we are going business class... he would say, as if there was nothing better than this!

We were worried that there might be a problem with Mathilde going back as a child (with a seat) after having come out as an infant (without a seat). It turned out that a bigger problem was that Inger-Lise had travelled here on an infant's ticket due to a mistake made by the travel agent. It is surprising they didn't pick up on it when we left back in August 2006. We spent about an hour at the check in desk before they finally sorted it out.

It was sad to wave them off through passport control, but they will have a lovely time in Norway while I work another 2 weeks here in Lagos.
