Daniel Star of the Week

Last Week, Daniel was "Star of the Week" and we made a poster with pictures, which was hung in his classroom. Yesterday, we all went into his class while he presented his poster. He did a great job. Due to traffic, I arrived with Mathilde 10mins late. I also brought his two favourite books: Dr Seus ABC and 100 Facts about Dinosaurs. He was very confident and spoke very well, just like Erik did last year in the second grade (here).

That evening, Erik and Uli had a sleepover at our house, while Daniel and Axi slept over with Albrecht and Marieke. Erik & Uli played with the Playmobile pirate ships (in which they have found a renewed interest since watching Pirates of the Caribbean). When they went to bed I overheard them talking about how all their friends leave. Uli didn't get to sleep until late.
