On Saturday there was baseball as usual and a Den meeting where I taught the boys how to tie a square knot, a bowline, a sheet bend, two half hitches and a slip knot. They also painted a base coat on their Pinewood Derby cars. After a pizza, Erik practiced for his variety show performance with Justin and Amy Taylor. I took Mathilde and Daniel to the GQ. When Inger-Lise arrived with Erik, she took over and I did an hour of training in the gym. In the evening we went to Ashley and Tray's housewarming party.

On Sunday, after a leisurely morning, we went to Mads's 9th birthday party at Lona and Michael's compound on Lugard Road. The children had a great time, running around. I was a bit knackered, to be honest. Afterwards, Mathilde, Daniel and I were down by the pool while Inger-lise did some Norwegian homework with Erik.
