Friday 6th & Saturday 7th April
Friday and Monday are holidays in Nigeria and it was nice to take the day off and have a relaxing day after a hard week. We just stayed by the pool. I built a "space station" for Daniel out of the outdoor tables and chairs, which he enjoyed playing in the rest of the day, and helped Erik to start building the birdhouse he got from scouts.

At 3pm we went over the Pernille's house for the usual Friday afternoon drinks. This time however, since it was a holiday, the men were there too. We had a pool competition and drank lots of beer - that's what men do right..?

On Saturday, we took it nice and easy after the excesses of the previous night. We had lunch at the GQ and then Inger-Lise and Erik went back to the flat to start catching up on the work Erik will be missing while we are an extra week in Kenya. Back at the GQ, while Mathilde had her sleep I got in an hour's training while Daniel watched Cartoon Network in the gymn.
