On Saturday morning we set off back to Lagos from Stavanger via Frankfurt with Lufthansa, laden with entertainment: iPod, portable DVD player, Nintendo DS and good old fashioned books.

We spent afew hours in the lounge next to the gate while waiting for the flight to Lagos. When we went on board, we found that Anders, Mats & Karoline Hansen, Adam Letsch, Sammy Grootelaar & Oli and Axi Zimburg were travelling on the same flight. The boys had a great flight back watching movies and playing games together.

I watched December Boys on the flight with a young Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) playing one of the lead characters. It was a very uplifting movie. I really enjoyed it.

We knew we had arrived in Lagos when the Captain announced that the reason we had been circling over Lagos for so long was because they had had a power cut in the control tower...

Surprisingly, we got through passport control and collected our luggage quite quickly and it was nice to see Joy and Salako again when we arrived in the appartment. Salako had made dinner with groceries he had bought with his own money. We are very lucky to have such nice people working for us.
