Last Night we had a "work-do". Statoil's MD invited us up for drinks in his flat and a buffet dinner at the Eko Hotel. The Eko is quite an Expat hangout. It is where the big companies send their employees before they give them accomodation on a compound. We hadn't been there before, but we didn't like it much.

After the buffet, we sat outside and listened to some live music before heading "back to base". Tor Christian & Rita invited us into their flat for a nachtspiel. I had to be up early with the kids the next morning so I turned in early, promising I would leave the door open. Unfortunately, I left Joy to finish watching here TV programme and forgot that Inger-Lise had just given her a key to the door, so Inger-Lise got locked out. No amount of ringing on the door or the phone would wake me up but she got the door opened by Statoil's security ("Control").
