In the morning we left Slough and drove to Woking where we delivered back the hire car and got the train to Waterloo. Despite the usual traffic on the M25 it all worked like clockwork and we picked up our tickets for the Eurostar to Disneyland in good time. It was a long train ride, but we had the gameboys and the portable DVD player with us, so the children were kept amused.
One of the attractions of a Disney hotel is that the characters wander in and have a little show. Pluto was on the first evening and Mathilde loved him. So much so that when all the children lined up to have a group photo taken with Pluto and an older girl stood beside Pluto, Mathilde screamed and pulled at her until her father got her to leave - it was pretty dramatic. After she had gone, Mathilde serenely filled the gap and stood, suddenly calm beside Pluto.
Daniel's favourite ride was still Thunder Mountain - the wild west train roller coaster (he loved this ride the last time we were in Disneyland 2 years ago) I took pictures of him on the ride on both occasions! Mathilde's favourite was Its a Small World and the carrousel.
