On Saturday, Erik was supposed to have had the trials for baseball next year at the school, but because of the traffic after the Lagos half marathon, we had to give that a miss. Instead we went with the rest of the family to St. Saviours for their Christmas fete, where lots of stalls were set up in the school grounds.

There was a stall where children could paint, plaster casts of different Disney characters, cars, planes, etc. Erik surprised us by picking out Bambi but then her explained it was for Mathilde's birthday, which was very thoughtful of him.

I bought tombola tickets for Erik & Daniel. Daniel let his friend, Connor have a dip for a ticket and what-do-you know he won the first prize - a basket of groceries! (Erik won me a bottle of Guinness!)

After the fete Erik and I went to Scouts, where I had to fill in for the Den leader in my capacity as "Assistant Den Leader". Erik and I had our uniforms on for the first time (with all the badges!). Erik liked that!

In the afternoon we went to the American GQ (our usual weekend haunt at the moment) with Sven & Lisbeth.

Unfortunately something I have eaten did not agree with me last night and I am recuperating at home today while Inger-Lise has gone out with the boys :-(
