Erik's Country Project.
Erik and I had worked hard in preparing for the presentation he had to make of his Country Project. He had chosen the Isle of Man and Caroline and my Mum had brought over a lot of tourist brochures for him to use in making his poster.

After Inger-Lise had gone back with Daniel, we had to do his regular homework first and then go over to a meeting room in the office where we could lay his poster materials out and project the internet onto a screen to get information on the Isle of Man. Erik really worked hard and wrote a lot of text, rather than just sticking in pictures.

We also made a powerpoint presentation, since the class would not be able to see the pictures on his poster. We prepared also prepared speaker notes. On the day, I plugged my laptop into Mr Welchman's projector and Erik did a great job of presenting. He was very calm and spoke very clearly and the other children asked him lots of questions. At the end, Mr Welchman asked the children to write notes to Erik with their feedback, as they did at the end of all the presentations. Erik deserved the good grade he got!
